This training game is useful to help participants explore a given topic without boundaries. Often constraints, opinions and attitudes get in the way of resolving issues or even debating topics. This training game removes those barriers.

Instructions:

Advise participants that they will discuss a topic without letting any of their own prejudices, opinions or attitudes get in the way. There will be no barriers to conversation and they will act as if there were 'no rules.

Introduce the topic for discussion and start the conversation. If you hear any 'yeah, buts' or 'no you can't do that' then remind the participants that there are no rules to the conversation and anything goes.

This training game does need careful managing and should only be used with a group where you can be confident that things will not descend into anarchy.

Review:

Conclude the session by bringing together all the key points made and ensuring participants are happy with the results. Often you will find that because participants have been able to talk freely, a clear solution can be found.
