This energiser will help test participants ability to think creatively at pace, and to practice their communication and persuasion skills, which are important for success in sales.

Flipchart paper and pens.
Instructions
- Divide the Participants into pairs.
- Provide each pair with a common product (e.g. a book, a toy, a phone, etc.) that they need to sell to the rest of the participants.
- Give the pairs 10 minutes to create a 30-second commercial for their product.
- After the 10 minutes are up, have each pair present their commercial to the rest of the participants.
- Encourage the participants to ask questions and give feedback on the commercials.
In Review
Discuss as a large group, what makes a good commercial or sales pitch and what strategies the groups used to make their items appealing to potential buyers. Ask the participants to write down any reminders this energiser has provided.
Objectives:
This energiser will get your participants thinking creatively and practicing their communication and persuasion skills, which are of course, important elements for success in sales. It will also give them the opportunity to think about how to create a good sales pitch and how to grab the attention of the audience.
