
Intended for:
Participants in training sometimes need a challenge that is a little removed from the subject matter. This can help to lubricate their thought processes and also help to re-focus them when necessary. This tried and tested energiser works very well and can be used in almost any programme.

Instructions:
1. Show the group the picture of the large square.
2. Ask: “How many squares are there?” Get them to call out their answers.
As they answer ask: “Any more?” until they get the right answer of 30.
The 30 squares are made up as follows:
• 16 x Individual squares
• 1 x big square
• 9 squares of four each
• 4 squares of nine each
