Virtual Training

Virtual Training Materials – These materials have been adapted from the corresponding classroom course materials that you will also find on our website. However, we have changed the structure and content so that it better suits delivery in a virtual environment such as a video conference call. This means no major alteration to the content, but the structure and method of delivery will have altered.

Intended for:

These Introduction to Critical Thinking’ virtual training course materials have been designed to help ensure participants take an analytical approach to their work and learn to plan and structure their thought process prior to jumping into the workplace problems they face. It may be that they tend to jump ‘feet first’ into issues and make assumptions and solutions before they have all the facts, or are too quick to come to their decision on the right approach. They may also be people that have critical thinking skills already, but would benefit from developing them further.

The virtual training course will help learners to appreciate the important role that critical thinking plays in the workplace.

Training course contents:

Critical thinking has been highlighted as one of the key skills required by organisations today and the ability to think critically is often the difference between a good employee and a great one. With the access to data that we have today, many people seem to have lost the art of taking stock and thinking carefully about problems that we face. Because of this, critical thinking has become a skill that we would all benefit from developing further.

The aim of this virtual training course is to help develop the important skill of critical thinking. Working on simple tools that will help your participants engage with the process and develop alternative methods of handling workplace situations.

Why is running this Critical Thinking Virtual Training Course a good idea?

Well, just imagine if your participants were better able to:

  • Understand critical thinking and the part it plays in the workplace
  • Establish their current levels of critical thinking skills in key areas
  • Focusing on areas of improvement and identify current weaknesses
  • Be able to explore and review business requirements, so that they are better equipped to handle them
  • Use established principles to structure their thoughts towards projects and workplace targets

Ultimately these virtual training course materials allow you to nurture a workforce that is better able to work smarter and accomplish both personal and company objectives in an efficient and collaborative way.

I bought your Critical Thinking workshop yesterday, it’s amazing so many great concepts and principles. Today I have been trying the Folk, Folk, Folk exercise with everybody I meet.
