This free energiser provides participants with an opportunity to review their learning, thoughts and/or feelings on a given topic in a fast paced, quick thinking way.
Training course contents:
A set of instructions for the training energiser, ‘Headline’ can be downloaded in Word format from the link at the bottom of this page, or you can follow the instructions below.
Tools – newspapers, magazines, glue, sticky tape, flipchart paper and pens.
Instructions – participants are placed into groups and each group is provided with several newspapers and magazines. Their task is to create a headline that reflects the key learning points from the day.
The teams are competing against each other and the quickest team wins. However, there is also a bonus for the most fun headline.
Typical uses – this energiser is useful after lunch when you want to quickly get the group back on track and thinking on topic again.
Objectives:
This energiser reinvigorates the participants and provides an opportunity to relax during a heavy session. It also focuses them on the task and allows them the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings.
