Intended for:
This is a very easy team building game to set up. You will just need room for all participants to stand in a circle. If the weather is good it works really well outdoors…
You can use this free team building game as an enegiser and/or as part of a team building programme.
Training course contents:
Instructions to help you run the team building game can be downloaded in Word format from the link at the bottom of this page, or you can follow the notes below.
Resources Needed – sufficient space for all participants to stand in a circle. This is a good activity to run outdoors, weather permitting.
Ask participants to gather into a circle and stretch out their left arm. They should then hold the left hand of the person standing roughly opposite them.
Now they need to stretch out their right arms and hold the right hand of the person roughly opposite them.
Explain that they have to untangle themselves without letting go of anyone’s hands.
Add extra pressure by giving a time limit such as 10 minutes. (When completed, they will end up in a circle, holding the hands of the persons next to them)
Discussion topics – their feelings on hearing what they had to do, effective and ineffective attitudes and decisions, and what they have learnt about working as a team.
Objectives:
To help energise participants during a training session and/or to encourage participants to work together as a team,
