Intended for:
This free energiser is really just to lighten the mood of a group, perhaps when they have been discussing a very heated topic or when you want to reduce them to laughter for any other reason.
Note: The energiser is best used with people who are very comfortable with each other and have a sense of humour. Be sensitive to anyone who might have an issue with the game.
Training course contents:
A set of instructions for the training energiser, ‘I Love You, But…’ can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, you can follow the notes below.
Instructions:
Participants sit on chairs in one large circle in the room.
One person stands in the middle of the circle.
This person must kneel down in front of someone, look deep in their eyes and ask “If you love me, smile!”
The person must answer without laughing “Darling, I love you, but I can’t laugh!”
If the person laughs, they switch places and the game continues.
Continue the game until you think it has run its course and everyone is smiling.
Objectives:
This energiser is a great way to get everyone smiling again.
