This free energiser is useful where you want to help embed learning, create and follow up actions and ensure participants do what they say they will post training.
Training course contents:
A set of free instructions to help you run the energiser can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this page, or you can follow the notes below.
Instructions – at the end of the training session, ask participants to write down several key personal actions from the training (hopefully you will have been prompting them to record actions throughout the training also). Before letting the participants leave for the day, ensure you take a photocopy of each of their actions (or you could ask them to forward them on to you, although in our experience this has limited success).
Up to two weeks after the training event has passed, email a ‘top ten’ list of the key actions from the session. Also include some notes around some of the key learning points and ask the participants how they have progressed against their actions. Ensure everyone is copied in on the email and try to encourage conversation through the responses you get back.
This energiser helps ensure key action points are considered and followed up on after the training session. It also helps to embed key learning points and encourages participants to learn from each other.
