What’s the course about?

VUCA, Agile and Scrum

Develop the skills and knowledge required to effectively solve problems, meet challenges and lead in uncertain times

VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) – This term is used to describe the environment of constant, unpredictable change that many businesses are working in. This atmosphere requires a different style of leadership to the traditional and a fresh outlook to engaging and empowering others is needed. It also requires us to consider how we make decisions, solve problems, plan, adapt and manage risks.

Agile – Agile management, as the name suggests, is an approach where project requirements and solutions evolve through the collaboration of self-organising, cross-functional teams, and the customers or end users. Agile methodologies were introduced to develop complex products, especially in a VUCA environment.

Scrum – Scrum provides a framework for helping teams work together effectively, address complex issues and work towards well-defined goals. It’s based on the three pillars of transparency, inspection, and adaptation and the idea that knowledge comes from experience and making decisions based on what is known. Put simply, Scrum is an effective way to manage projects and develop solutions.

This VUCA, Scrum and Agile e-learning course sets out to provide your learners with all the skills and knowledge they need to effectively work in uncertain environments while giving them key tools to manage and control their business outputs. Its aim is to help the learner manage and control what they can and adapt to experiences that they can’t.
