Intended for:
This free icebreaker is useful as a warm up at the start of a training session and encourages participants to share interesting information about themselves.
The icebreaker also acts as a useful tool to help establish the negative aspects of teams and works particularly well at the start of a leadership programme or team building event.
Training course contents:
A set of instructions for the icebreaker, ‘Worst Teams’ can be downloaded for free from the link at the bottom of this page, or you can follow the notes below.
Ask participants to introduce themselves in the usual way and additionally ask them to state examples of the worst teams they have worked in and the reasons for this. You can add the key points to a flipchart sheet to refer back to later.
Objectives:
This icebreaker is useful where you want to explore team scenarios and understand any underlying issues that participants might come to the training room with.
This icebreaker works well with our Team Building Training Materials and also our Leadership Skills Training.
